I was born and raised in White Hall and graduated from North Greene High School in 1988. I received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Illinois College in 1992. In 2009, I went back to college and got my Post-Baccalaureate Degree in Elementary Education, followed by my Masters of Science Degree in Special Education. I previously taught K-6th grade Special Education in Waverly School District. I currently live in Waverly with my husband and 2 boys, who are in 10th and 8th grade at Waverly Elementary School. We spend our free time attending the boys' baseball and football games, camping, and traveling to new destinations. This is my 5th year teaching Jr. High Special Education at Winchester. I'm excited to be working with my students again this year, to build a love of books and reading. We will be reading some fun novels together and working on projects that expand on the learning opportunities in them. I am so excited to be a part of the Winchester School District team! I look forward to working with your kiddos and learning with them! Please feel free to email or call me if you have any concerns or questions about your child.
