2024-2025 Hazardous Weather Bus Routes

Announcements will be made by the School Messenger automated notification system by 6:45 AM. The garage telephone number is 742-5260. Your assistance is appreciated.
THE AFTERNOON ROUTE WILL DELIVER STUDENTS TO THE SAME PICK-UP POINT THE MORNING ROUTE COVERED. Therefore, even if road conditions improve, the bus will make the same scheduled stops for both the morning and afternoon routes. Students are welcome to ride the bus that comes closest to your home or the one you can most easily reach via a cleared road.
Bus #4 Sue Gutman
Leave bus garage at 7:15 AM traveling east on Old Route 36, stopping in Riggston and on to Merritt, turning around at McGlasson Road. Then west on Old 36, stopping at Phillips Ferry Road, Vortman Road and Taylor Lane. Take Taylor Lane to Hoots Road (if any students are riding), then back to North Main, picking up on way to school. (Afternoon routes will be North Main, to Hoots Road, then Old 36 to Riggston and Merritt)
Bus #5 Denny Vortman
Leave bus garage at 6:40 AM, traveling south on Route 106, reaching the Manchester Park at 7:00 AM via the Alsey - Manchester blacktop, picking up along the way. Leave the Park at 7:10 AM, then further south on Route 106 to County Line Road at 7:20 AM. Returning to school via Route 106, picking up along the way back to Winchester.
Bus #8 Frannie Suhre
Leave bus garage at 7:00 AM to Pleasant Hill Baptist Church at 7:12 AM. Then to Alsey Park at 7:15 AM, leaving at 7:18 traveling to Glasgow via the Alsey-Glasgow Road. Leave Glasgow at 7:23 AM, returning to school via Hillview Blacktop and 106 picking up along the way (Big Swan 7:27, Moore Rd 7:28, Lashmett Rd 7:29, Brown Rd 7:32, Hillview & 106 7:34).
Bus #10 Lester Turner
Leave bus garage at 7:25 AM. Travel down Woodson blacktop, picking up along the blacktop and arriving at Hart School at 7:35 AM, and then on to Frontage Road picking up along the way. Back to Hart School at 7:40 and back to school via Route 106, picking up along the way.
